A Note from Chef
Born on Maui and living the Hawaiian life style with beautiful luaus and huge family gatherings, I was always drawn to the simplicity of flavors made from the freshest ingredients. After moving to the main land, I realized I needed to become a Chef and started my culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu in St. Peters, Missouri. Following my education, I gained the irreplaceable experience working at Bellerive Country Club in Ballwin, Missouri rated one of the Top 50 Country Clubs (Platinum Clubs of America) and Top 2 Best Country Clubs in the state of Missouri (Golf Digest). While there I met one of the most influential people of my life, training under Executive Chef Kevin Storm, CEC, CCA, AAC. Without Chef Storm’s constant guidance, critique, motivation, and inspiration I can honestly say that I never would have become the Chef I am today.
Following my experience at Bellerive Country Club, I traveled from coast to coast, battling as part of the Chef De Cuisine Saint Louis Junior Team. As part of the American Culinary Federation we conquered various competitions including state and regionals. As a female culinarian with more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I bring my knowledge, experience, and passion for food to Siena Golf Club as the Executive Chef. My qualities of creativity, organization, and discipline allow me to be a teacher to my staff. As “flavor developers” we start with purchasing the freshest ingredients for the season, preparing them with honesty and love, to create remarkable, visual “Wow” factor dishes that not only please the eyes and stomach but also the heart and soul.

Keep on the lookout for new and upcoming events happening on property such a cooking classes, entitled “Techniques by Tali”, designed to show participants that you too can become your own personal chef. “Techniques by Tali” will feature creating easy from scratch dishes while enjoying some laughs, sipping on champagne and a fresh, fruit infused juice bar.
